Getting ready to visit S P Dinsmore

Isaiah Zagar, Tile and Mirror Mural Artist of the Magic Garden in Philadelphia, PA, led a pilgrimage to the Garden of Eden - created by S P Dinsmoor in Lucas Kansas. Here Isaiah and wife, Julia, are seen outside the crypt with the glass encased coffin containing Dinsmoor's remains. The group of 15 toured the Garden of Eden, the Grassroots Art Museum, Bowl Plaza (the #2 finest public toilet in the US) and several other sites in Lucas, which has become a meca for Outsider art and artists. The trip included a 'grassroots meal' in Lucas and an overnite stay in the newly renovated historic Midland Railroad Hotel in Wilson.
